As a Christmas gift this year, I'm giving everyone a free Habitrail kit.

No refunds!

Don't even THINK of returning it for beer money. :-)

Contains 6 unique pieces including water bottle, hamster wheel, snacks and a mean Kitty. Take apart and put back together any way you want.

- Some assembly required
- Use under adult supervision.

This map is offered free into the public domain (which I don't usually do) to be shared and used any way you want.

Some helpful tips to keep in mind.

1). This map consists almost entirely of transparent objects. Try not to touch two transparent objects together or you may incur the wrath of the HOM demons.

2). The main vertical tube is a zero gravity zone. To ascend, stand under tube and press JUMP.

To return DOWN the tube press JUMP then FORWARD with enough downward momentum to push you to the end of the tube. It's a little tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy.

3). I found the best size for hollow tubes is outer radius 80, and inner radius 72. Textures are GenFluid.utx air and water textures, scaled up to X8, Unlit, Transparent.

Bots will not enter diagonal tubes of this size. (They get claustrophobic and frightened). You could probably make the tubes much larger to accommodate bot paths, but it would alter the map's proportionate scale and perspective.

Running around through all transparent architecture can be a little disorienting, so a single panel in the tubes, the end rings, and pod floors are non transparent.

Diagonal door jams are made extra wide just cause.

The water bottle delivers 1 hitpoint and respawns after 3 seconds.

Bots will patrol the ground level and top 3 pods of the map.

Some bots may venture outside the Habitrail.

Yes, it's easy to escape the Habitrail. Explore at your own risk.

The cat's name is “Kitty”.

Snack box contains a small gallery commemorating previous mappers who helped inspire Habitrail.

Happy Holidays.
